Music Venues in Loughborough

There is no better way to introduce yourself to the music scene than  getting your hands dirty and embracing the local music culture. There are many music venues in Loughborough, all offering many quality hours of entertainment. Singing Lessons Loughborough has compiled a list of 4 of our favourites.

Loughborough Acoustic Club

Loughborough Acoustic Club is a small friendly live lounge environment. Anyone is welcome to perform there to a supportive audience or just to go and relax and listen. Entry prices are very affordable and it is very easy to get a time slot to perform. The live lounge sessions take place on Thursdays and the club hosts special guest acts once a month.

Loughborough Students' Union

Loughborough Students Union (LSU), not unlike many other student union's across the country, regularly host some of the biggest names in the music industry. With an enthusiastic student market to target, student union's often have little trouble attracting some of the most popular performers.

Another thing guaranteed at a student union night is atmosphere. If you're looking to enjoy a memorable night alongside flocks of young people, the Loughborough Student's Union will provide a very positive and friendly atmosphere where like-minded music enthusiasts gather to support and spectate their favourite popular artists. Some of LSU's  recent performers include the likes of Scott Mills, Bowling for soup and Apache Outlaw.

The Donkey Bar

The Donkey Bar is a small, cosy venue located in the centre of Leicester, a short bus or train ride from Loughborough City Centre. It celebrates its 10th year of hosting live entertainment in 2015 and the owner's enthusiasm and care for this independent venue only grows as time passes.

The Donkey Bar also boasts a large beer garden and a car parking facility. As well as free-WiFi along with a large selection of drinks, the venue certainly goes the extra-mile to help customers and musicians alike feel absolutely comfortable in their environment.

The Three Nuns

The Three Nuns is a nicely-sized traditional pub and restaurant. They often host live rock bands on saturdays and with highly acclaimed foods and drinks selections, and if the pub atmosphere is your type of thing, then they are worth a visit.  The building itself has recently undergone refurbishment, but the traditonal old pub feel has not dissapeared with it - so it's another venue in which you are made to feel at home.
